The study presents a number of best practices for teaching mathematics through play. The games presented in the study have the advantage of being simple, enjoyable and capable of being played at home. They can be used at school in class, in day care in pairs, in groups, and in some cases at class level. During the activity, children learn and appreciate board games and become familiar with mathematical "folklore games”. Some of the games are based on board games available in shops. In several cases, variations are shown as well as ways of using them at different levels. In addition to the rules of the games, their developmental effects are described: for example, in which class and for which curriculum they are recommendedDownloads
