The article gives account of the design of the language preparatory course of the English–Hungarian primary bilingual education specialization at ELTE TÓK. This course is structured according to the special language needs of the CLIL classroom teacher and describes the methods and task types that promote achieving the CLIL-specific language development goals. Finally, the author outlines how the course material should be extended, using mainly online learning materials.
