The study outlines the role of computer aided teaching in the process of child education (with special regard to the second language teaching). From demonstrating the digital literacy and digital competence towards exemplification of the current educational policy of ICT in Hungary reaches the presentation of learning habits of the youth focusing on the possibilities of ICT-usage. At the end the study shapes some possible strategic aims of ICT-usage in education.
