The paper introduces a bilingual (Hungarian–English) Montessori learning circle which was set up in September 2016 as a continuation of a similar kindergarten programme at the request of the parents. The children (aged 6–9) work individually on their work plan. The tasks are checked both by the teacher and by themselves. The other core component is the English language which is not learnt but acquired through meaningful and enjoyable tasks.
