Methodological workshop at the Constantine the Philosopher University in Nitra

Abstract

The study provides an overview of the the current methodological workshop at the Institute of the Hungarian Language and Literary Science of the Faculty of Central European Studies at the Constantine the Philosopher University in Nitra. In addition to the methodological courses in the curriculum the teacher candidates are offered to gain experiences in organizing cultural events and competitions in the field, as well as in the compilation of literary programs. Two special events were launched in the Nitra methodological workshop. The Day of Dramatic Games aims to the complex presentation of the drama pedagogical method while serving the promotion of contemporary works of children’s literature as well. The national Legere Literary Competition for high school students aims to develop comprehensive reading of the text, encourage students to read more literature, expand their knowledge and prepare them for the final exam.
