Abstract

At the time of climate crisis, while the virtual world is gaining ground in children’s lives, more and more people are thinking about how to ‘bring’ children back to nature and raise them from an early age to be people who love, care and know their environment. Of the various options and concepts, we present a Danish example, the forest kindergarten, in which children spend almost their entire day, all their activities in a forest environment. We also briefly discuss how much this could be adapted in Hungary, how much there would be a demand for it, and what the parents and teachers concerned fear most.
