Open Access policy

Journal of Early Years Education is an Open Access journal: it provides immediate free access to its content to ensure that research results are freely available to the public, facilitating global knowledge exchange.

Texts published in this journal are made available under the licence Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0 (CC BY-NC-SA 4.0)

Authors are permitted and encouraged to post their work online (e.g., in institutional repositories or on their websites) after its publication.

Authors are entitled, with no restriction in time and free of charge, to publish (via e-mail, on the author’s webpage, on the website of the author’s institution, on the author’s institutional or university repository with open or restricted access or on other non-profit servers) the pre-print version (i.e. the submitted and accepted version) of their manuscripts. When disseminating the manuscript, authors are obliged to warn readers that the published manuscript is not the final, published version of the text.

No publishing fees

The entire editing process is absolutely free of charges for authors. In coherence to a publication politics based on the principles of justice, equity and the mission of Open Science, Journal of Early Years Education does not charge article processing charges (APCs) or article submission charges. Articles are accessed free of charges, immediately after their publication.
