The paper is written to show thoughts of a practising teacher about the learning process of school-aged children. Many questions are raised, because the digital age is characterized not only with its changes, but also with their rapid process. In the questions and challenges of the current education process we cannot rely on the knowledge built by the ancesting generations. The digital world offers new means and ways of education for the children, which can only be gained by the teachers with hard work. The digital media basically restructures the games, as well as the learning processes and free time activities of children. These new possibilities have an impact on the abilities and skills, which are needed to the conventional learning processes. The author examines, how can the institutional system be adjusted to the modifications of the mentioned processes.
