The paper focuses on the author’s participation in an European Union Project (2013–2015) as a visiting lecturer at the Faculty of Pedagogy, University of Matej Bel, Banská Bystrica, Slovakia. The project aimed at disseminating the methods of early language pedagogy and methods of early CLIL as well as the most recent research findings in this field. The paper introduces readers to the joys and concerns of the challenge of being a visiting lecturer.
