The study deals with the question of how teaching multiculturalism appears during the English lessons in the first six grades. It shows the theoretical background of the topic, talks about some issues of teaching English to young learners and gives a short summary of what and how should be introduced from the area of culture to young learners. The practical part of the study provides the readers with a great number of examples taken from the author’s own as well as trainees’ teaching practice.
