The introductory part of the study draws the main routes of the development in the main religions in Europe. Secularisation is a dominant event in the 21. century, its proof with reliable statistical data stands as an important step to further interpretation. At this point the understanding of several definitions of religion and belief has the same importance. On the field of explanation of Christian pedagogies there is a need for briefness and narrowing. As part of Catholic pedagogy some ideas from Pope XVI. Benedict and Pope Francis are outlined. As part of Reformed pedagogy one can learn about the elements of protestant world view. Evangelical pedagogy can be interpreted with the help of one school. Finally, the study gives an overview on several aspects (e.g. methodology, development) of moral philosophy.
