Abstract

The study analyses the characteristic features of the so called millennial generation, the elements of the distance of generation gap and their changings – embedded in the socio-cultural area. The main idea of these phenomena is that the media is rather their means than their trigger, this can be considered as one of the factors of our technicised and rapidly changing society. The socio-cultural changings of the teenagers are – amongst other things – linked to the use of media, the spreading of mass culture and the methods of experiencing amongst the youth.
