Language acquisition habits of the German nationality in Hungary

The paper presents the current state of German language teaching in Hungary, the Hungarian Germans, their language-oriented assimilation, their bilingualism and diglossia, as well as their typical language acquisition habits. We get a picture of the fact that the acquisition of the German mother tongue is predominantly institutionalized, it happens in kindergarten
