Abstract

The author presents in a theoretical frame the need of a new self-representation in the special educational psychology. It is also necessary to exceed the out of date theories especially which are socially dangerous. The traditions which have prognostic value for paradigmatic changes are emphasized. In the way we view and judge people with disability, the emphasis must be on the philosophy and practice of the valuation of personal features instead of devaluation.
