Abstract
This recollection of memories presents a personal description of the diplomatic
relationship between China and Hungary in the 1970s. The author actively participated in the development of these diplomatic relations, thus he has firsthand expericences from this period, when there were various different attitudes
among the Central and Eastern European Socialist countries, and even among
the various Hungarian politians, how to relate to the Chinese reforms.
