Abstract
Linyi was one of the first political entities to be mentioned by name by the Chinese in Mainland Southeast Asia, which by tradition were described as countries in their chronicles and their geographical works. The Chinese sources related to Linyi very rapidly entered the domain of scholarly research, and thus, evidently, undertakings have been made toward the reconstruction of Linyi’s royal genealogy. In the current study I shall attempt to outline the Linyi royal lineage as precisely as possible, both by publishing the original texts and highlighting the information that is revealed within them. My precise aim has been to unveil the dates of the coronation and demise of the various sovereigns, as well as, the circumstances in which these events occurred.
