Abstract

Our study focused on the motivation and career perception of physical education teacher students in the so-called undivided system (BSc and MSc in one degree). Based on our results, we conclude that third-year students, through positive experiences of teaching their own classmates, become more comfortable in the teaching role and this increases their level of commitment to the teaching profession. According to the professional position of the Teacher Training Committee, if students get acquainted with the reality of being a teacher already in the initial stage of education, it will be easier to find out the degree of their suitability for the profession and their commitment.
