The issues of Modern Nyelvoktatás are published on an Open Access basis.

The journal follows the Gold Open Access model. Its publications may be freely saved and copied in electronic form and may be used without modification, provided that the source is properly acknowledged. Such use may not serve commercial purposes.

All forms of distribution and use are subject to the provisions of Act LXXVI of 1999 on Copyright, as well as Act XXXVII of 2021, which amends Act LXXVI of 1999 on Copyright and Act XCIII of 2016 on the collective management of copyright and related rights for the purposes of legal harmonisation.

The electronic version of the journal is published under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 (CC BY 4.0) licence.
