Submission of Manuscripts
The journal Modern Nyelvoktatás (Modern Language Teaching) welcomes the submission of scientifically sound manuscripts that have not been published previously, have not been submitted for publication elsewhere, and, if accepted, will not be submitted for publication in another journal. The journal Modern Nyelvoktatás therefore serves as the first publication venue for the authors’ original research findings.
The current section structure of Modern Nyelvoktatás comprises the following sections: Research Articles, Workshop, Interviews, Book Reviews, Dictionary Reviews, Software Reviews, Tributes, News, and Anniversaries/Remembrances.
The content of the Interview, Tributes, News, and Anniversaries/Remembrances sections is prepared by the journal’s editorial board. Submissions are invited for the Research Articles, Workshop, Book Reviews, Dictionary Reviews, and Software Reviewssections.
Manuscripts submitted to the Research Articles and Workshop sections are anonymously reviewed by two independent reviewers. In the case of Book Reviews and Software Reviews, the manuscript is reviewed by the editor responsible for the respective section, while Dictionary Reviews are reviewed by the section editor and one independent reviewer. The reviewers are academically qualified researchers (e.g. PhD holders) with relevant scientific backgrounds, selected from among researchers affiliated with various institutions.
The deadlines for manuscript submissions are 1 March and 1 October. Before submitting a manuscript, please read the Author Guidelines.
Manuscripts should be submitted via the journal’s email address:
