Abstract

The starting point of this study is, that the classical arguments of the How Is Critical Economic Theory Possible? against the centralized labour-time economy has been refuted since then by the Marxian economists. The study introduces then the model of socialism developed by Cockshott and Cottrell, which based on the Marxian labour theory connected with the result of modern informatics. Then we examine the main objection of the Austrian school of economics to the model, that this model couldn’t manage and use the so-called “tacit knowledge”, knowledge created and transmitted in the everyday, spontaneous practice of people, and which thus couldn’t be fed into the computers.
