Our series on the role of didactics in education continues, with an article that offers a new perspective on the issue.
The author poses the question whether learning in digital environments is breaking down the boundaries of didactics or whether it rather offers a handhold. The article analyses the role of didactic principles in successfully supporting learning in changing and diverse learning environments. It points out that teaching and learning solutions in the classroom and in the digital environment are mutually transferable and useful.
We look forward to our readers' views and reflections on the papers of the series and to the questions raised.
