Didactics in the development of digital teaching materials and learning environments. We continue our series on the importance of didactics. The latest piece in our series explores the role of didactics in the development of e-learning materials and learning environments. It points out
that high-quality e-learning development, which aims to help learners achieve their learning objectives relies on a thorough understanding of learner characteristics and methodological solutions that are aligned with them. The author argues that a coherent general didactics can provide a solid basis for the creative work of e-learning developers.
