Abstract

Our series on the role of didactics in today's education, launched in the previous issue, includes the latest articles in our section. Changes in the socio-economic environment are challenging teachers to manage the diversity and specificities of the student population and to integrate the achievements of digitalisation into school work. Our authors present how the Budapest Business University and the University of Miskolc prepare teacher candidates to successfully meet these challenges from the perspective of teacher trainers. They show, among other things, how didactic content can link different subjects, how to create a learning environment for student teachers that is rich in positive examples based on their own experience, and what opportunities exist to strengthen the link between theory and practice. The authors also discuss the challenges that are at the heart of further training development.
