Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to present the role of didactics in the students' learning, as a result of which they leave the institution with such knowledge and skills that they can successfully start their teaching career. We believe that students should have a high level of subject knowledge, but the question is how higher education prepares them to transfer this knowledge. The paper discusses the interpretation of the teaching-learning process, the designation of teaching-learning goals, the teaching-learning process, methods, tools and pedagogical evaluation.
