Abstract

The study examines the mentors of the Let’s Teach for Hungary mentoring program at the University of Pécs. The study reviews the literature on mentoring and the previous studies on the program. The focus of the analysis is on mentors’ professional diversity. Students' goals in coming to the program, the benefits of the mentoring role, and how they evaluate their own development are inquired. The research was based on an online questionnaire, and the sample (N=180; n=50) was stratified according to training types. The results of the study highlight the high input expectations of mentors and the benefits of the mentoring role. Respondents reported progress, they found it rewarding to participate in the program.
