Abstract

Sincet he 1950s, a number of studies have examined mathetatics related anxiety. The phenomenon is complex and develops as a result of the interaction of many factors, such as socialization factors, motivational factors, cognitive effects, emotional effects, and factors related to learning and education. As teachers in teacher education, we find that mathematical anxiety also causes difficulties among prospective teachers, thus requiring special attention. In our study, we aim to summarize the results of the international and domestic literature ont he topic.
