Please be informed that the peer review of submitted papers is carried out anonymously in both directions, in accordance with international standards. This rigorous process guarantees that the peer reviewers evaluate the scientific papers received without bias and that the authors can accept the conclusions of the peer review. Each paper is submitted to at least two reviewers before publication, ensuring a comprehensive and fair assessment.
Our referees, who are exclusively selected from among experts with a minimum PhD in education and co-disciplines from many universities, bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to the review process, ensuring a thorough and insightful evaluation of your work.
In the review process, the reviewers will consider the following criteria:
- the relevance of the problem, the interest of the topic
- the relevance and novelty of the theoretical approaches presented in the paper and the literature used
- the quality of the research paradigm, methods and tools used
- new findings, scientific novelty
- compliance with the formal criteria for scientific publications
- summary of the manuscript
- specific proposals for amendments
In most cases, reviewers will recommend a minor or major revision in which the above aspects play a significant role. But of course, it is also possible that they will either support the publication of the paper without changes or that the shortcomings and errors found will cause the paper to be rejected.
If one reviewer is supportive and the other rejects the paper, a third reviewer is involved in the process.
Please note that the peer review process, i.e., the invitation of reviewers and the preparation for the peer review, takes time. It can take months between the receipt and publication of the submitted papers. Please take this into account when submitting your material! Our journal has four issues a year: spring, summer, autumn, and winter.
