Abstract

In the first part of this paper, I first briefly outline the concept of philosophical idealism. Secondly, I draw out a possible logical geography of idealist theories, focusing on three types of idealism: classical theism, idealist monism, and antirealist idealism. Then, in the second part, I give an overview of contemporary panpsychism, which can be labeled at least as an „idealistic” theory – or rather, a family of theories – in contemporary philosophy of mind, and provide a detailed look at two, now widely discussed arguments in favor thereof.
