Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submitted paper has not been previously published or reviewed in any journal.
  • The submitted file must be in LibreOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect format.
  • The text is single-spaced, 12-point font, and uses italic formatting instead of underlining (except for URL addresses). All illustrations, figures, and tables are in their place, not at the end of the text.
  • The author has adhered to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements, which are listed under the Author Instructions/Style Guide tab.
  • The author has included DOI numbers in the bibliography of the text wherever possible.
  • The author has included Author's declaration.
  • The author has indicated the research ethics licence number where relevant.

I further declare that the submitted manuscript has not been previously published or reviewed by any journal.

I agree to allow the editors to make changes to the paper so that it may be published in a quality and format appropriate to the journal. I agree that the paper will be published if the author has made corrections based on the reviewers' comments and the editors' requests, provided that the paper has two favourable reviews.

I acknowledge that the editorial process includes checking the submitted manuscript with plagiarism software and that if the editorial team finds plagiarism, data falsification or result distortion, the manuscript will be automatically returned and publication will not be possible.

The goal of collecting data

The Education Science: Education—Research—Innovation collects and processes personal data to publish the journal and operate its website.

Type of data collected

Collecting personal data is to authenticate authors during the publication process and provide accessibility to readers. The following data is collected and published on the journal's website for both studies and reviews when publishing manuscripts:

  • name(s) of the author(s) (first and last name)
  • affiliation of the author(s) (title/grade and place of work)
  • email address

Legal basis for data processing

Rights of data subjects

The data subject may request information about the processing of their data, request access to personal data concerning them, rectification, modification, erasure or restriction of processing, or request their deletion by submitting a written request to ntnytitkar@ppk.elte.hu. At the request of the data subject, the controller shall provide information on the data processed, the purposes, legal basis and duration of the processing, the name, address (registered office) and activities of the data processor about the processing, as well as the persons who receive or have received the data and the purposes for which the data are processed. The controller shall provide the information in writing within the shortest possible time from the date of the request but not later than 25 days.

The controller shall erase personal data if the processing is unlawful, the data subject requests it, the purpose of the processing has ceased, the statutory time limit for storing the data has expired, or the erasure of the data has been ordered by law, an EU act, the Authority or a court.

If the data subject does not agree with the information provided in response to their request or the decision or the controller does not provide a statement within the time limit, they may take legal action. Further remedies and complaints may be lodged with the National Authority for Data Protection and Freedom of Information:
