The Possibilities of Enhanced Reading: Analysing the Hungarian Verbal Charm Corpus with the Voyant Tools

Abstract

This study employs the Voyant Tools online text analysis and data visualization software package to conduct various analyses on the Digital Database of Hungarian Verbal Charms. The primary objectives are to identify and evaluate distinct patterns and to propose novel research questions, thereby illustrating the potential for enhanced reading within a folklore corpus. The digital collection is rearranged based on the site of the collections, the collector, and the collection methodology, providing a new framework for analysis.
