About the Journal
Digitális Bölcsészet / Digital Humanities is a Hungarian peer-reviewed, open-access journal covering all aspects of digital humanities research. The journal publishes a wide range of scholarly materials, including
- research papers in theoretical, methodological, and applied research in digital humanities,
- papers about digital methods, tools, and projects,
- reviews of books, digital resources, and code,
- code and research data.
Papers are published continually (added individually), yet not necessarily at a constant rate. Journal issues are closed at the end of the publishing year.
The journal intends to be open in a variety of ways. It is open-access (CC-BY-NC-SA license) and its content can be freely used. It is also open to other disciplines, research fields, and activities within and outside Hungary.
Digitális Bölcsészet / Digital Humanities has no article processing charges (APC) or article submission charges (ASC). The journal allows authors to hold the copyright without restrictions and to retain publishing rights without restrictions. Authors can deposit their articles in institutional or other repositories without restrictions according to the Sherpa/Romeo policy (for more information, see: https://v2.sherpa.ac.uk/id/publication/38000)
