A Föld sóhajai az ind mitológiában

A tanulmány az indiai mitológia Föld-istenalakjaihoz kapcsolódó narratívákra koncentrál, különös tekintettel a Prithivī és Bhūmi istennőkhöz fűződő történetekre. A szerző azt vizsgálja, miként jelenik meg a Föld mint érző, szenvedő és kommunikáló létező a védikus és posztvédikus forrásokban. A „Föld sóhajai” metafora nyomán elemzi a természeti világ antropomorf és érzelmi dimenzióit, valamint ezek vallási és erkölcsi következményeit. A tanulmány rámutat, hogy a Föld szenvedése és megszólalása az isteni rend zavarát, az emberi túlkapások következményeit és az isteni beavatkozás szükségességét jelzi. A vizsgálat ökokritikai nézőpontból is értelmezhető hozzájárulás az ind mitológia és a környezeti érzékenység kapcsolatának feltárásához.
