Ókor. Folyóirat az antik kultúrákról provides immediate open access to its content, based on the principle that free access to research fosters broader global knowledge exchange and academic collaboration.

The journal adheres to the principles of the Budapest Open Access Initiative (BOAI), supporting the free availability of scholarly research online without financial, legal, or technical barriers. We believe that making research freely accessible enhances scholarly communication and promotes equity in knowledge dissemination.

Unless otherwise noted, all content published in the journal is licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International License (CC BY-NC 4.0). This license permits users to copy, distribute, and publicly share the material, provided that the original author and source are credited and the content is not used for commercial purposes. The intellectual property rights and any potential economic rights of the articles remain fully with the authors.

By publishing in Ókor, authors agree to the following terms:

No Publication Fees

Ókor. Folyóirat az antik kultúrákról does not charge article processing or submission fees. In keeping with our commitment to accessible and equitable academic publishing, the entire editorial and publication process is free of charge for authors. All articles are available to readers free of cost immediately upon publication.
