Abstract

Discussed in this study are the predictive archaeological models constructed for specific periods and their sub-periods as a potential research technique. The data gathered during the field survey of a sample area in the Perkáta Valley enabled the construction of a predictive archaeological model for the early, middle and late Árpádian Age. The control and comparison of the results for different periods shed light on the changes in the choice of settlement location.
