TOKAJ TÁJENERGIÁI (A VÁROS HELYI ÉS HELYZETI ENERGIÁI, 895-19. SZÁZAD VÉGE)
Abstract
Tokaj - as a Tisza crossing and a port city - had a situational energy for a long time, that
came from "indirect contact" with more distant landscapes. From the middle of the 19th
century, as a result of the outlined systems of influence, Tokaj was transformed into a
regional market center for the small areas directly in contact with it. From the settlement
until the 19th century, the landscape use strategy, that is, the economic utilization of local
energies, can also be described as successful. The more than a thousand-year-old vineyard
and wine farm, based on local energy, and its product, Tokaj wine, has remained worldfamous, and its production area, Tokaj-Hegyalja, was declared a part of world heritage
(2002) and a historical landscape (2012).
