The realization of the exhibition Kingdom of Gods and Demons: Mesopotamia 1000–500 BCE at the Museum of Fine Arts in Budapest, curated by Zoltán Niederreiter and Erika Roboz, marks a highly significant event for both Hungarian classical scholarship and the popular dissemination of knowledge about the ancient world. The exhibition draws primarily on material from foreign museums, was developed based on a unique scholarly concept, and aims to engage both academic and general audiences. Given the exceptional importance of the exhibition and the wide range of perspectives it invites, our editorial team has decided that it merits not just a single review but a space for multiple viewpoints, opinions, and interpretations. In this spirit, we present below three reviews of the exhibition
