Una tumba: lo oculto, lo perverso, lo tabuado

The short stories of the Región cicle by Juan Benet show a complex structure of the enigma or “shadows` zone”. An example of “the occult” can be seen in the nouvelle entitled “Una tumba”. The arguments to support this argument can be found in the spatial form that determines the space through specific lines: the horror vacui, the eulerian dimension and the ideological condensation, as results of the Guerra civil española`s disruptions between the republican prehistory and the national history. The catalizing centre of these configurations is the home whose representation has became a locus horribilis after the war.
