The constitutional aspects of the maintenance and alimony obligations

Abstract

 The purpose of this study is to present the maintenance or alimony obligations, which, whether based on the law or on a contractual basis, aim to maintain, care for, and improve the livelihood of the beneficiary. The article therefore undertakes not only to analyse the domestic regulation of alimony and annuity contracts, but also, in a broader sense, the description of all constructions that serve the above-mentioned purpose. In addition, the article also wants to explore constitutional law connections in the analyzed topic.
