Abstract

The central idea behind Industry 4.0 is the increasing use of technology. Greater use of automation, robotisation and artificial intelligence to simplify and streamline production processes. Streamlining production processes also means streamlining work processes. Industry 4.0 should be understood in a much broader context, as it directly affects work processes and rationalisation and has implications for understanding social law. It is, therefore, necessary to examine the extent to which law, in this case, labour law, employment policy and social law, can keep pace with change. Can we talk about law 4.0? that can adequately follow industry 4.0.?
