The Main Characters of Jacques Derrida's Legal and Political Philosophy

Abstract

In my paper I reflect on Márton Szabó’s work Társadalompoétika and I would like to draw attention to how Jacques Derrida’s deconstructive philosophy and literary threory shaped his own views on law and politics. My thesis is that accpeting indeterminacy and refraining form conceptual closure are fundamental to understand the ethical and political implications of Derrida’s work. In my study I thouch ont he themes of law, justice and violence, the possibility of death of ideologies, and „democracy to come”.
