This study analyzes the press briefing activities of courts from the perspective of personality rights protection and data privacy, especially considering media demand and the new compensation for damages as a sanction. It describes the operation of the court's "virtual press department," the challenges of verifying journalistic credentials, and the principles of proactive communication and data handling. The article addresses legal limitations on name usage and the delicate balance between freedom of information and the right to privacy in criminal cases. It emphasizes that information disclosure must not infringe upon the good reputation of convicted individuals, especially after a final judgment. The abstract highlights the legal basis for providing information and the court's responsibility in ensuring a lawful and ethical media presence.
