About the Journal

Folia Historica is a historical journal of the Hungarian National Museum, published once in a year. The journal publishes studies related to the museum’s artefacts, its history, its exhibitions as well as the museum’s work, divided into three sections (studies, publications, workshop). Folia Historica provides a publication opportunity for scholars to publish the results of their research on history, art history and museology.
