Privacy

The names, identifiers, manuscripts, e-mail addresses, and reviews submitted to the journal will not be disclosed to third parties by the editorial board of Ciklus without the consent of the parties concerned. The data will only be used during the publication process described in detail on the website.

 

No-Fees Policy

In accordance with the journal’s publication policy based on an equality principle, the editorial board of Ciklus does not charge authors any fees for the submission, handling, or publication of articles. All articles published in the journal are immediately available free of charge after publication. Unfortunately, we are currently unable to offer remuneration for articles or for participation in the review process.

 

Copyright

By submitting their text, authors declare that the work is their own original intellectual product and that its publication does not infringe on the rights of any third party. In the event of a complaint by a third party, the author bears full responsibility, including any financial consequences. The authors’ name, ORCiD, and institutional affiliation will be published by the journal in both the printed publication and on the website in a form agreed upon in advance. Authors are entitled to publish their work in other publications, provided that it is in the same form as the version published in the journal and that the original publication is accurately indicated. Authors are encouraged to distribute their work online after publication.

 

License

The copyright of the articles published in the journal belongs to the author, while the journal has the right of first publication. The published article is subject to the Creative Commons License “Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International” (CC BY-NC 4.0). The license allows the work to be copied, shared, modified, used in parts, and used as a basis for further works, provided that the activity is not for commercial purposes. All this is possible only with appropriate credit to the author, indication of the license, and indication of any modifications.

 

Open Access

Ciklus journal is available in libre open access format in accordance with the guidelines of the Budapest Open Access Initiative (BOAI). This allows users to freely read, download, copy, share, print, search, cite, or use the full text of the articles for any lawful purpose, without legal, material, or technical restrictions, provided that they comply with internationally accepted standards of academic ethics, such as the rules of citation and referencing.

 

Archiving

The works published in the journal are archived by the publisher in the ELTE Digital Institutional Repository (EDIT). This repository is used to store documents and collections connected to the institution, and allows users to search and browse by category.
