The papers in this thematic issue examine liminal situations from an interdisciplinary perspective, highlighting their psychological, social, and spatial dimensions. The editorial interprets liminality as a fundamental existential experience, emphasizing that liminal situations are not only crises but also transitional states that offer opportunities for the development of identity, agency, and personal growth.
