Abstract

The papers in this thematic issue approach the phenomenon of liminal situations from diverse perspectives, yet they share a common focus on the vulnerable, transitional, and often uncertain nature of human existence. The editorial interprets these situations from an environmental psychology perspective, emphasizing that turning points in human life are not only psychological and social but also spatial experiences, accompanied by transformations in identity and the relationship between individuals and their environment.
