The editorial outlines the intellectual orientation represented by the Psychology as Human Science Research Group at the Institute of Psychology, Faculty of Education and Psychology, Eötvös Loránd University. It situates the thematic issue Existential Psychology as a continuation of the earlier special issue Phenomenology and highlights contemporary perspectives and fields of application of the human scientific traditions within psychology.
